Terms of Use

1. Who we are and acceptance – These Terms of Use govern the use of this site and the booking of tandem skydives with Skydive Búzios Paraquedismo, an operator based in Armação dos Búzios/RJ, Brazil (contact: skydivebuziosparaquedismo@gmail.com). By booking a jump or using the site, you declare that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The service – This site lets you schedule and pay online for tandem skydives carried out by our team in Búzios/RJ. All prices are shown in Brazilian reais (BRL) and include what is described in the chosen package.

3. Booking and payment – To book, you pay a deposit online through Mercado Pago; the current deposit percentage is shown before payment (currently 30% of the package price). The balance is paid on the day of the jump by PIX, card or cash. Your booking is only confirmed after the deposit payment is approved; until then, the time slot is only held temporarily.

4. Participant requirements – The minimum age is 12 on the jump date. Participants under 18 need written authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Each participant must provide truthful information at booking, including in the fitness-to-jump declaration.

5. Weight and fitness – Due to the equipment manufacturer's safety limit, the maximum passenger weight is 115 kg, with no exceptions. All participants are weighed on the day of the jump; above 90 kg a surcharge applies, as stated at booking. If, at the weigh-in or check-in, it turns out that a requirement is not met (for example, weight above the limit or an untruthful declaration), the crew may refuse the jump for safety reasons, without this constituting a breach by, or giving rise to any penalty for, the operator.

6. Liability statement and assumption of risk – Skydiving is an adventure sport with inherent risks that cannot be fully eliminated even with an experienced crew, certified equipment and compliance with the rules of the activity. By booking, the participant declares being fit to jump, assumes the risks inherent in the sport and undertakes to follow all crew instructions before, during and after the jump. The operator's liability is subject to the limits of the applicable law; nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

7. Weather and operations – Skydiving depends on weather conditions, the aircraft and airspace clearance. The booked time is a check-in window, not the exact jump time, and the average stay on site is about 2 hours. If conditions prevent the jump, the booking will be rescheduled at no cost or, if you prefer, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

8. Right of withdrawal – Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may withdraw from a purchase made online within 7 days of payment, with a full refund of the amounts paid, provided the service has not yet been performed.

9. Cancellation and refunds – Cancellations are handled exclusively through our contact channels (email or WhatsApp); there is no self-service cancellation on the site. Outside the withdrawal period, cancellations requested up to 72 hours before the jump entitle you to reschedule or to a refund of the amount paid. Within the 72 hours before the jump there is no refund of the deposit, which covers the costs of preparing the operation – unless the jump becomes impossible due to weather, aircraft or airspace, in which case you choose between rescheduling at no cost or receiving a full refund of the amount paid.

10. Rescheduling – You can reschedule your jump on the site, free of charge, up to 72 hours before the booked time, subject to date availability. Within the 72 hours before the jump, rescheduling is only possible through our contact channels and is subject to the cancellation policy above.

11. Gift vouchers – A gift voucher covers 1 Selfie Jump and is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. It may be given to another person, but it cannot be converted into or refunded as cash. Use of the voucher is subject to these terms, including the participant requirements and the rescheduling policy.

12. Use of image – We may take photos and videos of your jump as part of the service. Those images are only used in our publicity and marketing with your consent, which you may decline or revoke at any time through our contact channels, without affecting the service.

13. Intellectual property – The content of this site (texts, trademarks, logos, photos, videos and layout) belongs to Skydive Búzios Paraquedismo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. Reproduction or commercial use without prior written authorization is prohibited.

14. Governing law and forum – These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. In consumer relations, the courts of the consumer's place of residence remain guaranteed, as provided by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
